boys Creating the Archbishop Fulton Sheen Catholic Academies is truly a cooperative venture between the people of Ave-Afiadenyigba and partners throughout the world. The most important thing you can do is to pray for the success of this effort.

What your gift provides:

For Education:

$15,000 will provide a school van to transport students from surrounding villages to the Academies and generate income for the school by providing transportation for the community
$7,500 will build a classroom
$2,500 will support one teacher for one year
$1,500 will support one teacher aide for one year
$600 will purchase one computer and the necessary academic software
$450 will purchase a 'poly tank' for potable water for the school
$75 will purchase a teacher's desk
$50 will sponsor one student for one year
$25 will purchase one student desk

For Economic Development

$16,000 will provide the Ave-Afiadenyigba with a community tractor to improve agricultural and construction efforts
$5,000 will train an agronomist to work with the community in growing crops
$4,500 will support an agronomist for one year, including transportation to visit the homes and fields of participating families
$100 will provide pineapple seedlings for a family
$50 will provide mango seedlings for a family
$50 will provide palm seedlings for a family

Recognition

If you wish to underwrite the cost of a classroom, computer, furniture or other equipment, we would be pleased to recognize your gift with a commemorative plaque on the gift.

Multi-Year, Multi-Parish Effort

Creating the Archbishop Fulton Sheen Catholic Academies is a multi-year, multi-parish effort. We anticipate adding one classroom/grade per year until the school is completed. Multi-year pledges are welcome. If your parish is interested in becoming a partner in this effort, please contact us.
